Help in accessing the Russian markets for products subjects to mandatory certification

VNIIS provides GOST certification (or registers the declaration of conformity), carries out conformity assessment in compliance with requirements of technical regulations (or registers declaration of conformity) for the following products:

1. Foodstuffs and Food Raw Materials
2. Primary Products
3. Electrical Equipment
4. Personal Protective Equipment
5. Consumer Products and Textile Industries
6. Machinery
7. Perfumery and Cosmetics

For products not covered by VNIIS scope of accreditation VNIIS arranges for GOST certification through cooperation with appropriate accredited certification bodies.

help in accessing of the Customs Union (Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, and Republic of Kazakhstan) markets , known as the Unified Customs Territory .

VNIIS is included to the Unified List of Certification Bodies of the Customs Union. For the products included to the Unified List of Products subject to mandatory conformity assessment (within the framework of the Customs Union), VNIIS can issue certificates of conformity and register declarations of conformity according to the Customs Union unified forms.

Assistance in obtaining certificates, permits and other approval documents issued by various Authorities of the Russian Federation, such as:

• Certificate of the State Registration of conformity to the unified sanitary-epidemiological and hygienic requirements for products to be sold to the Customs Union territory (issued by the Federal Supervisory Service for Consumer Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) );
• Certificates of conformity to fire safety requirements (issued by the Emergency Control Ministry);
• Permits to use special-purpose equipment in dangerous industrial environments (issued by the Federal Environmental, Engineering, and Nuclear Supervisory Service); etc. if these documents are necessary for importation, sales and usage of the products at the territory of the Russian Federation.

Voluntary certification by VNIIS or by other accredited certification bodies.

• Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001;
• Environmental Management Systems in accordance with ISO 14001;
• HACCP Systems (Food Safety Management Systems as defined by ISO 22000).
